To make things even simpler, the bowl and lid are dishwasher safe. For safety the lid has a lock which must be closed before the motor will activate.

Great value I got 2 of these. They are compact and ideal for everyday use. My mum uses it daily for things like onions, garlic & ginger. You can make a paste or leave things roughly chopped. Just depends on what your cooking. Simple to operate and easy to clean. Great little gadget. Btw the other was a gift!
