Very disappointed in my purchase I was very disappointed to discover that this kettle is PLASTIC inside. I assumed it was stainless steel inside and just plastic/coloured white on the outside â like most kettles are. Thereâs been a lot written about chemicals leaching out of plastic with heat. So I am returning it.
Fabulous kettle I love this kettle.Iâve never really bothered that much about kettles in the past. Even when I changed my kitchen I kept my existing kettle and toaster because they were working fine.In the past when my kettle has stopped working Iâve gone down to Costco and bought whichever one they had in at the time. Beware plastic interior! If I could give a no star rating for this kettle I would. Read the few one star reviews however went with the majority of positives, big mistake on my part, you can always learn more from a critical review than a positive one. Boiled over and over and this kettle still smells and tastes with a plastic taint. My wife complained her tea tasted strange and after several uses I no longer trust this item, can’t help but wonder what the horrible plastic interior will be like in six months. Sending…
