Terrible taste. Absolutely unusable and not fit for purpose. After very, very many flushings with water before even using coffee the taste and smell of the water in the carafe was terrible, smelling strongly of plastic and tasting very bitter. The inside of the cold water holding tank also had a very potent plastic smell. The tap water used, both cold and boiled, was perfectly satisfactory.
also keep warm turns off after 40 minutes and we would like it to stay warm longer Much quieter than last model.Disadvantages for us is that it doesn’t have a bean reservoir as our last Russell Hobbs did, also keep warm turns off after 40 minutes and we would like it to stay warm longer.
Superb purchase, would definitely recommend ! Bought as a gift to replace an older Russell Hibbs model. Recipients love it, especially the grind your own beans option & the fact that you can control the strength of coffee .
