Light weight hand blender This is a light weight hand blender that will satisfy most typical chopping/whisking tasks in the kitchen. Almost unintentionally, I’ve found myself becoming a bit of a Russell Hobbs loyalist. After being stung by an attractive, but ineffective Braun hand blender a few years back, Russell Hobbs have become my ‘go to” brand for mid priced, mid ranged kitchen gadgets. Disappointing. Disappointed with this purchase. I’d purchased it as I was looking for an electric whisk, and a replacement for my overly-large food processor. The item is a lot larger than the images make it seem, but not unwieldily so, unit is probably as thick as a can of coke or similar. The red is a very striking and vibrant colour, which is great. Sadly the chopper unit is a slightly different colour.

Chopper not really good The chopper is very small and doesn’t work properly. Tried to chop some onions and garlic and it got stuck on the knife all the time. Not worth it.
