Great coffee maker! Purchased this stainless steel coffee pot after (possibly unfounded!) health concerns regarding using an old aluminium bialetti coffee maker. The ‘Kitty’ is made out of high quality ’18/10′ stainless steel (stated on the box but not in the product description) and I think it actually makes a more mellow, smoother cup of coffee than my previous aluminium version which sometimes had a burnt flavour. Well worth getting one if you like proper coffee We had always previously used cafetieres for our coffee until we went to Spain on hols recently and discovered the Moka pot. After significant online research we decided to go for this particular Bialetti model, primarily because it is dishwasher safe and also because it produces enough coffee in one use for two decent sized mugs.
