Great food processor but needs a UK plug I chose this model because it is very similar to my worn-out Braun which it’s replacing. There are many improvements to the older model and it’s better to use. It does what I want, chops onions and other vegetables very finely, almost to a puree, is perfect for soup – and I am a happy bunny! My only small complaint is that it comes with a continental plug and not a UK plug which I think should be mentioned in the description. I have put on a UK plug as I prefer not to have an adaptor in…
Not a patch on my original machine Seems a robust machine but a bit OTT on Health and Safety. The chopper works as one would expect and this was ok. When it came to the slicing device – well, I can only say that it was a waste of time. I have to admit that I am biased as this was bought as a replacement for my old faithful Multipractic that I was given as a gift back in the 1980’s. This machine did everything it said on the box for 30 odd years before terminally failing.. Not so I fear the ‘new’ model which is already sitting in…
Don’t buy I bought this food processor to replace the Multipractic I’d had for many years. This new model only lasted 18 months, when the shaft broke & so the blades no longer went round.I contacted Sotel (the retailers) & was told to return it to them & they would send it to manufacturer for repair. I did so. 6 weeks later, I have no food processor & no information about when it will be returned.
