A perfect coffee pot. This was just the size and colour I wanted. I frequently entertain guests, and they always comment favourably on the coffee I make for them. The colour is also a perfect match for my colour scheme in my kitchen. Thank you.
Product is great looking, but does waste time and money given … This is my 3rd purchase of Bodum coffee maker and each one cracked <=7 months after the purchase.Product is great looking, but does waste time and money given that it had to be replaced so often. I have finally given up and going to for stainless steal version of a coffee maker.Bodum does make make great glass coffee cups which I am still happily using.
Made with cheap plastic part instead of screw This French Press is made with a cheap plastic part instead of a screw that holds down the filter plate when you push the filter down to filter the coffee. The result is that the filter gets pushed up the plunger and doesn’t filter the entire pot. The metal screw is sold by Bodum for 2 pounds, I emailed Bodum complaining the my pot doesn’t work and was made with the wrong part instead of the screw, but they told me using the plastic piece is intentional and that I can buy the metal screw on…
