The Bialetti Musa polished stainless steel espresso maker comes from the award-winning design team of Guido Bergna. The fashionable stainless steel design focuses on stylish elegance. It is suitable for use on most hobs including gas, electric, induction and pyroceramic hobs. The Musa also features a new elegantly shaped knob which makes it easier to open the lid. It is 19cm/7.5in high with a base of 10.2cm/4in, makes 6 cups/10 fl.oz/300ml of espresso coffee and is dishwasher safe. Please note that this cup size is based on espresso cup sizes and not on regular tea or coffee cup sizes.

Poor Manufacturing Quality I love my morning coffee and when camping/touring around Europe I use a traditional aluminium Bialetti coffee maker. It has always produced great coffee and has never let me down but cannot be used at home as we use an induction hob which needs some ferrous material in all pots. I had been using an Ikea Stainless Steel pot which looked quite smart and made good coffee but did not quite have the style and quality feel of this pot.

5 stars but size is everything! We had been disatisfied with the coffee from our cafetierre for sometime. Staying with some Italian friends and drinking their coffee made with an Alessi stove-top espresso coffe maker we decided now was the time to change! Our friends, however, advised against the Alessi – the stainless steel model is very expensive (they said not to buy the aluminium models as they can corrode) and the handle gets very hot. I love this stove top caffee maker. The fact that it is simple, stylish and stainless steel is what originally sold me on this product. Now that I have used the coffee maker, I love it!! Simple to use and delivers a great tasting cup of coffee. Plus, it’s steel for all those of you avoiding aluminium products!! What’s not to love?
