Bialetti 9-cup Moka Pot This is my first experience of owning a Bialetti Moka Pot. After much deliberation over which size of Moka Pot to buy, I went for the 9-cup version. After a couple of weeks of trial and error, I’m now starting to make a decent brew of coffee:

Why spend more on a machine? I have had every type of coffee machine over the years, including bean to cup, cafetiere press, filter machine, you name it I’ve tried it! My delonghi recently gave up the ghost so I thought I would get out my old mocha pot from the back of the cupboard. This was a generic Italian one, very similar in looks to the bialetti. It made a decent amount of coffee for- 2 mugs of half and half with milk heated in my stove top frother, although it was a 6 cup pot. The taste was decent, but the machine…

the original and the best I’ve had one of these for years and you cant beat them.Only bought this because I needed one for another house.Much better than cheaper copies and better value than a £200+ machine.If cleaned regularly, they last forever.TIP : grind your own beans, not too fine – much better flavour.
