I would give it 10 stars if I could I recently decided to step up in my cooking technique and use stainless steel cookware for most of my cooking. Very happy with the taste but cleaning was a nightmare. I have been through pastes, powders, liquids for stainless steel… Nothing worked as well till I decided to give this one a try (noticed on youtube one guy was using this powder for his stainless steel frying pan after searing pork ribs in it – you can imagine the state of it). I cannot recommend Bar Keepers Friend high enough…
Just what I needed My stainless steel pans get discoloured with use, they get a sort of lime scale film and a bluefish bloom. This stuff cleans food residue and returns them to their original appearance much better than a dishwasher or ordinary washing. It also cleans copper pans and it seems quite good at removing stains from a white ceramic sink.It claims to be non-abrasive and I would not disagree.Overall, I will always have a pot of this by the sink. It works.
Brilliant stuff, use it all the time Brilliant stuff , use it all the time . bit expensive but it does cut down on elbow grease , and gives stainless steel a lovely shine !
