Recommended but…. The Andrew James Ice Cube Maker does what it says. It makes ice. It doesn’t stay as cold as a previously owned, different make, ice machine (which stopped working!) and the ice cubes don’t always fall into the storage basket but it works and makes ice in a quantity that keep the drinks cold and my family happy. If you want ice for a party you will need to make it in advance and keep it in a freezer because it can be slow and needs to be turned off every few hours to ‘cool down’. The FREE Ice…
Not bad, but not good either If the goal is to have a small amount of ice made for you at regular intervals, then this unit performs quite well. It’s not silent, but the noise it makes is not intrusive for being in the same room, and it regularly makes ice that fills the drinks of two people. The ice is made in two sizes.The only problem with this unit is that it doesn’t keep the ice it makes cold, which means it melts, reforms into ice, and keeps going around in that fashion.
